Too Many Volunteers

Hang on; this is a post on the recruitment topic. How can he write “Too many volunteers?”

Simple. Each and every volunteer you recruit needs to feel cherished and valuable. I have seen (on too many occasions) a line of volunteers along the side of a hall with nothing today and looking fed up.

How can you address this? Well, easy really.

I'm a leader with more than 30 years of experience and I have run beavers, cubs, scouts and explorers. I was in a trial group for the scout network. Presently, I am group scout leader (or group lead volunteer) at 4th Ashby Scout Group.
