I am the Busy Scouter. Involved in Scouting through Cubs and Scouts I have been a Beaver, Cub and Scout Leader and now hold the role of Group Scout Leader in a Scout Association group here in the UK. Don’t worry if you Scout in a different way or in a different place – or even if you are interested in games and activities for your own child or another group, you are very welcome here.
Besides this, I run a number of websites and love gathering ideas and collect scouting related books. Hopefully, some of the more useful ideas will be shared and perhaps updated here.
When I am not Scouting (I am also a climbing and abseiling instructor, sit on the district and county executive committee and a whole load of other ‘jobs’) I love to spend time with my family. My wife and I are blessed with four busy boys who love sports and the outdoors as well as scouting. We are very fortunate to have lots of trails and woodlands near where we live so cycling, walking, running den building and campfires feature often in our spare time!
